Spring Into Phab was founded in November 2015 and we are Affiliated with Phab. We are a multi-activity group run by volunteers, some of them have a learning disability who want to be able to make a difference in the community. We plan monthly social outings for people with Learning Disabilities & Autism. The socials are meals and we tend to do them in our local area. We arrange other social events like bowling and cinema trips. All volunteers are DBS checked and have up to date Safeguarding Training. If you are interested in joining don’t hesitate to contact us. We aim to inform, educate, and empower adults about child sexual and criminal exploitation. Training and workshops emphasise the significance of recognising signs and indicators, early intervention, positive strategies, appropriate language, understanding victim blaming and the importance of safeguarding and reporting to prevent children and young people from becoming victims of exploitation and abuse.
