Spring Into Phab was founded in November 2015 and we are Affiliated with Phab. We are a multi-activity group run by volunteers, some of them have a learning disability who want to be able to make a difference in the community. We plan monthly social outings for people with Learning Disabilities & Autism. The socials are meals and we tend to do them in our local area. We arrange other social events like bowling and cinema trips. All volunteers are DBS checked and have up to date Safeguarding Training. If you are interested in joining don’t hesitate to contact us. Emmaus Lancashire is a local charity that provides a home, work opportunities and personal support to people with experience of homelessness. We’re passionate about helping individuals gain the confidence, skills, experience and self-resilience to progress in their lives.
Open Door
As a registered charity we supply pre-loved furniture in Burnley and Pendle. We supply donated, good quality furniture and domestic appliances at very little cost to people who for what ever reason, can not ordinarily afford them.
Lancashire Women
Lancashire Women is a leading charity for women and girls in Lancashire with over 8500 women accessing their services over the past year and 31 active volunteers supporting delivery of their services. Their vision is where all women and girls in Lancashire are valued and treated as equals. Lancashire Women empower women and girls to be able to transform their lives by bringing them together to: find their voice, share experiences and understanding, develop their knowledge and skills and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about them… so that they can have choices in becoming the individuals they want to be.
Child Action Northwest
We passionately believe that every child and young person has the right to achieve their full potential, whatever their background or circumstances – and, as a result, we work with over 6000 children, young people and families in the North West of England every year. We work in the heart of communities – often in partnership with other organisations – to end family cycles of deprivation, drug and alcohol abuse, lack of self-esteem, youth crime, teenage pregnancies and broken families.

No Whispers Community Interest Company deliver training and awareness in child sexual exploitation, child criminal exploitation, county lines and safeguarding. We aim to inform, educate, and empower adults about child sexual and criminal exploitation. Training and workshops emphasise the significance of recognising signs and indicators, early intervention, positive strategies, appropriate language, understanding victim blaming and the importance of safeguarding and reporting to prevent children and young people from becoming victims of exploitation and abuse.
