WAVE – South Ribble
The new Work and Vocational Employability (WAVE) project is available for South Ribble residents aged over 16 years old.
This project is aimed to help those who are economically inactive (not in work or currently looking for work) to move closer to the labour market while breaking down barriers that have stopped them from reaching their full potential.
To be eligible for WAVE, participants must live in South Ribble and their address be within the boundaries of South Ribble Borough Council. Participants must also be economically inactive (individuals are those not in work and not actively seeking work – unlike unemployed individuals who are actively seeking work). You will need to be able to take employment in the UK.
A WAVE Key Worker will support participants through their journey. They will identify any barriers and work towards breaking them down, with support from digital and life skills to job searches and training.
The support will be tailored to each individual and will last until March 2025.
To access WAVE project, please email daisy@selnet-uk.com or call 01772 200690.
