Welcome to our online event dedicated to raising awareness about County Lines & Cuckooing. This session is exclusively for members of Selnet. Join this introductory session and find out more about the complexities of these issues and how to protect and safeguard vulnerable people.
County lines and the criminal exploitation of children, young people and adults at risk is a national concern. 27,000 children and young people are involved in or affected by County lines (The Home Office Impact Assessment Report 2023).
This introduction session will give you an insight into the issues connected to County lines and the need for us all to be vigilant and proactive towards preventing exploitation and abuse and working together with a contextual safeguarding approach.
