Age UK Blackburn with Darwen (previously known as Age Concern Blackburn with Darwen) were established in 1976 as a local independent registered charity. Over the last 35 years they have worked with thousands of local older people providing a range of community based services.
DanceSyndrome is an inclusive award-winning North-West dance charity led by dancers with learning disabilities. We believe that everybody belongs and that people with learning disabilities have skills and assets which can contribute to and inspire an equitable civil society.

CWP offers an alternative form of education to people of all ages who need or prefer to learn in a different way to the traditional education system that is predominantly academically based to one that is project-oriented and provides individualistic tuition.

Pendle Women’s Forum have been working with disadvantaged women in the Pendle community since 1998. They offer support to build esteem, motivation and confidence and will extend this provision by providing a transformational coach to support women in removing barriers preventing them from moving into learning and work.
Veterans in Communities (VIC) supports serving and ex-services personnel and their families, and members of the emergency services who have experienced difficulties in transitioning back into the community. We offer a range of services including outdoor activities, support to access specialised services, outdoor activities, hands-on projects to benefit the community, SInging Group and Art Group.
