Starting Our 20 Weeks for 20 Years Journey
“When Selnet began nearly two decades ago, we were a small team with a big belief that social enterprises across Lancashire deserved a strong voice, a supportive network and a place to belong.
None of us could have imagined how much the sector would grow or how many lives would be changed along the way.
We are now beginning our 20 Weeks for 20 Years campaign and I have been thinking a lot about the people who shaped our journey and what this next chapter means for all of us.
Over the next 20 weeks we will be sharing some of the moments, organisations and milestones that have helped build Selnet into the network it is today. These stories reflect the dedication, passion and commitment that run right through our sector.
This campaign is personal to me. I have had the privilege of working alongside so many dedicated leaders, partners and colleagues over the years. Every project, challenge and success has reinforced why our sector matters and why Selnet exists.
While we are taking time to look back, this is also about looking ahead. Our 20th Anniversary in April 2026 will be a true celebration of the sector we are so proud to champion. There is still so much to do and so much opportunity for us to grow, connect and support even more organisations to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with us. I am really looking forward to sharing these 20 weeks with you and to celebrating 20 years of impact, collaboration and community.”
