    About Us

For over ten years the Key Fund has been providing an innovative mixture of flexible grant, loan and equity packages to voluntary and community organisations, charities, co-operatives, social entrepreneurs and social enterprises.

The Key Fund itself is a social enterprise and so understands the difficulties that organisations can face in attempting to develop and grow. By providing tailored development finance, we are continuing in our mission to break down the barriers to accessing finance; enabling organisations to help people and communities to reach their full potential.

Since 1999, the Key Fund has awarded over £24m in over 2,000 organisations, £10 million in existing/new social enterprises, helping to provide over 6,500 training opportunities, enabling 130 new business start ups, the creation of 780 jobs and safeguarding another 622 jobs.
