About Us

Divine Days Community CIC

Divine Days Community CIC delivers a programme of services and provision for adults with additional needs; children with additional needs and complex needs; the elderly; the isolated; and those managing long-term mental and physical health conditions. Our provision is centred around bringing people together through a variety of programmes and creative activity programmes focused on connectivity, inclusivity, and rehabilitation.

 

The Legacy Project Plus

Legacy Project Plus is a vibrant, ambitious, and inclusive day service for people 18+ with additional needs and in receipt of Direct Payments. With options to attend from 1-5 days per week, The Legacy Project Plus develops essential life, social, and employment skills. We believe in opportunity not limitations, to help people with additional needs to reach their potential and open doors to new opportunities.

  • Participants are assigned a Mentor, to provide support and guidance and help to develop skills, confidence, independence and purpose.
  • Choice of a range of OCR-certified Life & Living qualifications
  •  Specialist pathways in areas such as horticulture, ICT, and motor vehicle studies
  • Dedicated one-to-one coaching and work placement support
  • Continued mentoring long beyond the programme

Man-archy

Man-Archy is our men’s mental health provision, using talking therapies, support groups, one-to-one sessions, and a befriending service for men living in West Lancashire. This project is funded via Well Skelmersdale and West Lancashire CCG delivering a person centred, local offer of crisis intervention and prevention for men.

Community Connections

Our Community Connections sessions offer specialised activities for the elderly, people with poor mental health or dementia, people that have been isolated and those managing long term health conditions. Community Connections provides a safe environment run by qualified practitioners to support members of our community to reconnect and find purpose and meaning on their road to recovery.

Creative Kids Saturday Club

Our inclusive Saturday club is interactive and creative designed to support all participants to engage, create and have fun in a safe and structured environment. Our practitioners are DBS checked and qualified and experienced in SEND Creative Arts provision. They provide a caring, nurturing and creative space for the children to be themselves and perform. We provide a variety of activities which include role play, arts and crafts, dance, singing and musical theatre. All are activities are designed to be inclusive and accessible.

Divine Dance Show Time (5-16 Year Olds)

Our inclusive performance class truly breaks down barriers, enabling SEND children to be able to take part in accessible dance class, with the opportunity to perform in shows in partnership with mainstream dance school ‘Inspiration School of Dance’. Our Divine Inspiration dancers are given the space to be creative and learn a variety of skills whilst having fun, in a safe and structured environment. 

The dancers will have the opportunity to take part in dance competitions and perform in shows across the North West.

Divine Dance Show Time (16+ Years)

Our inclusive performance class truly breaks down barriers, enabling SEND children to be able to take part in accessible dance class, with the opportunity to perform in shows in partnership with mainstream dance school ‘Inspiration School of Dance’. Our Divine Inspiration dancers are given the space to be creative and learn a variety of skills whilst having fun, in a safe and structured environment. 

The dancers will have the opportunity to take part in dance competitions and perform in shows across the Northwest.

Creative Kids Holiday Camp

Our inclusive holiday camp is designed to support all participants to engage, create and have fun in a safe and structured environment in the school holidays. Our practitioners are DBS checked and qualified and experienced in SEND Creative Arts provision and we also have our early years, foundation, key stage 1 and key stage 2 SEND specialist. The holiday camp team provide a caring, nurturing and creative space for the children to be themselves and to be active.
We provide a variety of activities which include arts and crafts, games, dance, singing and musical theatre. All are activities are designed to be inclusive and accessible.

 

We work with mainstream organisations to help them develop and improve their inclusive practice and how to become disability confident.

We deliver a variety of training programmes for schools and businesses including antibullying and disability awareness.
