The Sewing Rooms social enterprise is a business that trades to tackle social problems. Our goal is to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we work with, as well as improve peoples’ life chances. We do this through bespoke training workshops and a manufacturing department that makes soft furnishings, accessories and bespoke upholstery for private and corporate clients.
The AFC Fylde Community Foundation work across the Fylde Coast to educate, motivate and inspire future generations to build better communities for all. They have qualified coaches working all over Fylde delivering coaching, education programmes and personal development, providing young people of all abilities with multiple opportunities.
Lancashire Women is a leading charity for women and girls in Lancashire with over 8500 women accessing their services over the past year and 31 active volunteers supporting delivery of their services. Their vision is where all women and girls in Lancashire are valued and treated as equals. Lancashire Women empower women and girls to be able to transform their lives by bringing them together to: find their voice, share experiences and understanding, develop their knowledge and skills and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about them… so that they can have choices in becoming the individuals they want to be.
