Tender Opportunity – Provision of Business Support Consultants for DR!VE Project (ERDF)

DR!VE is an ambitious plan to support more than 200 new-start and existing businesses to grow in Lancashire until March 2023. Support through DR!VE is bespoke to the business or entrepreneur at no cost to them as it is funded by local match funding and the European Regional Development Fund with support from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Background:

Community CVS (the trading name for Blackburn with Darwen Council for Voluntary Service) have recently joined forces with Selnet Ltd, the Social Enterprise Network for Lancashire to deliver the DR!VE project.

Selnet are nationally recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 Social Enterprises and the lead body representing social enterprise in the Lancashire sub-region. Selnet provide a range of business support services delivered through partners that build capacity, provide resources and opportunities to help increase competitiveness, sustainability and impact of the business supported. Selnet have many years’ experience in contract management and are the lead partner in the delivery of the DR!VE project.

“DR!VE” is a bespoke, stand-alone programme for Lancashire enterprises and entrepreneurs that fills a gap in both business start-up and growth support provision across Lancashire. Throughout delivery of the DR!VE project the team aim to provide an enjoyable service which guides our clients through planned support to create business, increase competitiveness, profitability, employee engagement and ensure client satisfaction.

 

The Opportunity:

To deliver their element of the DR!VE project Community CVS aim to procure a small team of highly experienced and specialist business advisors to provide an enjoyable service which guides our clients to develop or start their business, working across East Lancashire districts: Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn, and Ribble Valley.
