About Us

Shape Lancashire Community Interest Company is now in its 4th year of delivering Projects in disadvantaged communities and giving people opportunities to engage, develop and grow. Our Projects are very varied and originally SHAPE was an acronym for Sports, Health & Well Being, Arts, People/Projects, Environmental and Employment – all were projects we had much experience in delivering in previous roles working in the Social Housing sector in the Community Development Team. Mandy worked in Housing for over 30 years and Kate for 10 years.

We have completed all those types of projects, and more, over the past four years working all over Lancashire and parts of Greater Manchester; Preston, South Ribble, Pendle, Colne, Blackburn, Bury, Bolton, Chorley, Lancaster, Morecambe, Blackpool.

The FLT unites the inspirational work delivered across England and Wales by the dedicated network of community trusts associated to the 72 Football League clubs. Last year we engaged with over 1.5million people using the power of football to improve health, inspire education, reduce crime, increase participation and tackle many difficult social issues like drug abuse and homelessness. Each of the 72 Football League Clubs (Championship, League 1, League 2) has its own community trust. The charities have a combined annual turnover of over £44 million, and 2,500 members of staff, including teachers, coaches and professional health workers.
